Hydraulic Elevator

The JJC hydraulic elevator uses a new door-opening and safety interlock structural design: a more rational structure, higher opening/closing torque and higher reliability, enabling rapid gripping, load bearing and release of pipe. Only two oil passages are needed for opening, closing and tilting the elevator, with reliable door-open and door-close signal feedback. It fits all in-service top drives without modifying the top drive swivel. An optional elevator load signal feedback configuration is available.

Features

Efficient

The patented structural design and greater door opening/closing torque (utility model patent No. 202122083075.9) let the elevator open and close more smoothly even with winter icing and mud contamination, in a bottom-push pipe handler system, greatly improving operating efficiency.

Safe

The patented load-bearing safety pin mechanism (utility model patent No. 202122083077.8) ensures operating safety. Reliable door-open and door-close signal feedback secures the automated interlock control. Elevator load signal feedback is also available as an option to further improve safe operation.

Convenient

Using only two hydraulic circuits through the swivel, it fits every top drive in service with minimal modification to the top drive. The enlarged link space design accommodates links of all types and models, and a choice of long or short tilt mechanisms better suits different top drive models.

Easy Maintenance

The new elevator's door-opening transmission is easy to service, the hydraulic manifold is easy to inspect, and elevator adapters can be changed quickly. Modular functional design and convenient configuration options make maintenance simple.

Minimum Oil Passages

Only two top drive rotary oil passages are needed for closing, opening, tilting the mechanism and door-status feedback. Fitting a hydraulic elevator to an in-service top drive requires no modification of the top drive swivel, greatly reducing configuration costs.

Intelligent Interlock

Interlocked with JJC's Iron Roughneck machine-vision module for one-touch fully automatic operation.
