Since the second half of 2020, after in-depth research and evaluation, Xinjiang Petrol Energy Service Co., Ltd. selected two JJC SW10-D1 Iron Roughnecks for its first batch of automated rigs. As an outstanding representative of national oil drilling enterprises, Xinpai attaches great importance to product quality, performance and overall cost-effectiveness, and choosing JJC Iron Roughnecks is also recognition and affirmation of JJC products. With use at crews 90005 and 90006 from the second half of 2020 to the first half of 2021, it was found on site that as drilling depth increased and string hanging weight grew, the slips caused greater damage to the string under heavy loads, and a dual-elevator operating mode had to be adopted. To meet the Iron Roughneck's needs in special conditions such as dual-elevator operation and tilted mousehole work, and true to its philosophy of creating value for customers, JJC drew on its strong innovation capability and craftsman spirit to carry out R&D. After several months of effort, it successfully developed a new Iron Roughneck able to meet the different conditions of deep well operations.

In 2022, Xinpai crew 90005 was the first to be equipped with the SW12-D1 deep well Iron Roughneck, which, proven in field practice, has won unanimous recognition and praise from frontline operators and the leadership.
